My name is David Binns. I began working out three years ago and while I was able to lose weight, I still lacked tone. I began lifting but only showed very small results after a year. Since I have started training with Armen, I have gained about 8 lbs of muscle in a short 3 months. I have more energy, better stamina, and my workout regimen has improved as well to be more rounded. These are things that I tried to do myself by reading books on the subject but that I am now convinced only comes with years experience and an extended education in training. These are both things that Armen possesses and has used to guide me to very favorable results. Using his advice I have improved my diet, and focused on foods that help burn fat and build muscle. My workouts have reached new levels with him pushing me to attain the best results. Armen has also helped me to create a workout schedule for the whole week, not just at personal training. Yes, You Can Save Money

That’s right. Take the right steps and you can stop worrying about cash flow.

At the end of each month, you wonder where all the money went. If you’re like many people, your money is here today and gone tomorrow. It can be stressful trying to make ends meet, and many people have to decide each month what bill to pay. Is the mortgage more important than student loans? Yes. Is the credit card bill more important than electricity? No.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have some extra cash to put in savings or to get some much-needed home repairs done?

Looking for ways to save money? Try these suggestions. A few dollars here and there can add up to thousands.

Start with a Budget

The first step in saving money is to create a budget. Save all your receipts for a couple months or look at your bank statement to see what you’re spending your money on. Write down a list of all your expenses (food, shelter, utilities, transportation, entertainment, etc.), and then estimate how much you spend each month for each category.

With a written budget, you can see where your money is going. Maybe it will be obvious where you can cut back. Being able to have cable television or the newest iPhone and eating out multiple times a week are not essential. These are easy examples of areas in which you can save money. Other areas may not be as clear, so here are some practical ideas to help you save.

Cut on Food

Save dining out for special occasions. The price of eating at a restaurant can easily double and quadruple what you’d spend on a home-cooked meal. On the rare occasions you do eat out, avoid getting an appetizer and dessert. The entree should fill you up or even be enough to split. While you’re at it, order tap water rather than a soda or other beverage. Use a coupon if you have one. Have children? Get to a restaurant offering free meals for kids.

Save on your grocery bill each month buy making a list and sticking to it. Plan your meals for the week and only buy what you need. Don’t shop when you’re hungry or you’ll be tempted to buy whatever looks good at that moment. Buy generic or the store brand whenever possible, shop at discount grocery stores, and use coupons.

When heading to work, pack a lunch rather than eating out. To make it easier to pack your lunch, cook extra for dinner and divide the leftovers into individual containers to place in the freezer.

Cut on Clothing

As a rule, retail clothing is overpriced. Look for the same piece of clothing online for a cheaper price. Just beware of high shipping costs. Another great way to save on clothes is to buy at the end of the season. And then trade in clothes you no longer wear at consignment shops and get credit to shop for new-to-you clothes.

Cut on Cell Phone

For any service (cell phone, Internet, insurance, or cable) shop around and compare prices to find the best deal. Choose a cell phone plan that fits your lifestyle. Get enough minutes to cover the month with a few left over. You may find the plan you have is excessive, and you can save a bit by trimming it down.

Also, check your bill to make sure you’re not paying for unnecessary services such as insurance, old ring tones, or third party charges. Never pay for directory assistance. Instead, dial 1-800-FREE-411. Use online services to call internationally and use your landline to make calls whenever possible. If web access and mobile email aren’t absolutely necessary, get rid of them.

Cut Debit/Bank Fees

While ATMs are everywhere, save by only using your bank’s ATM. Additionally, create automatic withdrawals for your credit card bills so you won’t incur late fees. Keep tabs on your bank account to avoid payment overdrafts. Know the interest rate on your credit card. If it goes up, call the company to bring it back down. Credit card companies will often do whatever it takes to keep you as a customer. And when paying, always pay off the credit cards with the highest interest rates first.
